Alfred McCullough (born July 16, 1989) is a former American football player. He played as an offensive lineman. An offensive lineman is a player who blocks for his teammates. He played for teams in both the National Football League (NFL) and the Arena Football League (AFL).

Alfred McCullough had an exciting career in football. He started playing in high school. Then he moved on to college and later played professionally.
High School Football Star
Alfred McCullough played high school football at Athens High School in Athens, Alabama. He was a very strong player. He was named one of the best players in his state. He helped his team, the Golden Eagles, reach the state championship game.
As a senior, he made 61 tackles and 12 sacks. A "sack" is when a defensive player tackles the quarterback. In his junior year, he had 67 tackles and 11 sacks. He was also named the best player in his region.
College Success at Alabama
McCullough played college football for the Alabama Crimson Tide. He played from 2007 to 2011. He played in 31 games and started six of them. In 2008, he was "redshirted." This means he practiced with the team but did not play in games. This allowed him to develop his skills.
While he was there, the Crimson Tide won two national championships. They won in 2009 and again in 2011. These are big achievements in college football.
Professional Football Career
After college, Alfred McCullough continued his football career. He played in both the NFL and the AFL.
Playing in the NFL
After the 2012 NFL draft, Alfred McCullough was not chosen by a team. This means he was "undrafted." However, the Baltimore Ravens signed him on April 29, 2012. This gave him a chance to play in the NFL.
