Playing Career
Alfredo had a long and successful career playing for many different football clubs in Brazil. He played for famous teams like Palmeiras multiple times, Cruzeiro, and Santos. He also played for Marcílio Dias, Nacional, América Rio Preto, Coritiba, and Taubaté.
In 1984, Alfredo even played for a team outside of Brazil. He had a short time playing for Jorge Wilstermann, a football club in Bolivia.
International Matches
Alfredo also had the honor of playing for his country, the Brazil national team. He played two matches for Brazil in 1974. One of these important games was at the 1974 FIFA World Cup, which is one of the biggest football tournaments in the world. In that World Cup match, Brazil played against the Poland team.
Later Life
Alfredo passed away on March 28, 2025, at the age of 78.
