Ali Caldwell (born June 28, 1988) is an American singer from Woodbridge, New Jersey. She started her music journey in an R&B group called Xhale. Early Life and First Steps in Music

Ali Caldwell was born on June 28, 1988, in Woodbridge, New Jersey. She loved singing from a very young age. She found her passion for music by listening to artists like Brandy, Celine Dion, and Faith Evans.

After high school, Ali decided to join a three-person R&B group called Xhale instead of going to college. Xhale had amazing opportunities, like opening for the famous group Boyz II Men on tour. They also performed for the legendary singer Patti LaBelle at her special tribute concert. The group eventually stopped performing together in 2010.

Ali's Music Journey

After Xhale, Ali Caldwell moved to New York City to keep chasing her music dreams. She performed regularly at many cool places in NYC, like Drom and the Village Underground.

A Big Moment with Tyler Perry

One exciting moment in Ali's early career happened when famous director and comedian Tyler Perry saw her perform. He was so impressed that he posted about her on Facebook, saying she was "AMAZING!!!" This helped more people discover her talent.

Touring and Collaborations

In 2014, Ali had the chance to tour in Russia, performing over 40 shows! She also sang supporting vocals for Christina Aguilera at Mawazine, one of the biggest music festivals in the world, held in Morocco. Ali has also been the main performer for five tours across many cities in Europe.

As an independent artist, Ali released her EP (a mini-album) called "Heart of Ballads" in 2015. She released it through 2MaroMusic™/ 2MaroMedia Inc., a company she co-owns with her manager.

Competing on The Voice

In 2016, Ali Caldwell auditioned for Season 11 of the US version of The Voice. During her "blind audition," where the judges can't see the singer, she sang "Dangerous Woman" by Ariana Grande. All four judges turned their chairs, meaning they all wanted her on their team! Ali chose Miley Cyrus as her coach.

Many people thought Ali was one of the top singers who could win the whole competition. She gave a powerful performance of "Did I Ever Love You" by Leonard Cohen, which got great reviews. Ali finished the season as a semi-finalist. Her performances of "I Will Always Love You" by Dolly Parton and "Sledgehammer" by Rihanna were very popular. Her song "I Will Always Love You" even reached high spots on music charts, like the Nielsen SoundScan R&B Genre Chart and the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Digital Song Sales Chart.

After The Voice

After her time on The Voice, Ali released a single called "To Be Loved" in January 2018. She has also been working on her first full studio album, titled "88."

In the summer of 2018, Ali was a contestant on Season 2 of another TV competition show called The Four: Battle for Stardom. She performed well and made it far in the show.
