About Alisha Morrison
Alisha Morrison was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Her family has African-Caribbean roots. She began acting when she was just seven years old. Alisha has performed in live plays, on television, and in movies. One of her early roles was in the 1993 Toronto show Show Boat. She played one of the children in that production.
Alisha's School Days
Alisha went to the Cardinal Carter Academy for the Arts in Toronto. She studied drama there. When she graduated, she even won a special drama award. During her time at school, she acted in many plays. She had a main role in A Midsummer Night's Dream. She also played a supporting lead in Annie. Alisha was part of the group in The Music Man.
Voice Acting and Movies
In 2001, Alisha did voice acting for a show called Swap TV. Later, in 2004, she appeared in the popular comedy movie Mean Girls. She first tried out for a different role in the movie. However, she was cast as Lea Edwards. Alisha shared that she and Lindsay Lohan became friends on set. They were some of the youngest actors in the cast.
In 2008, Alisha was a special guest at the Toronto International Film Festival. Her work in Mean Girls and Soul Food was highlighted there.
