Corduroy is a fun animated TV show for kids. It was made in the United States, Canada, and China. The show is based on the popular children's books Corduroy (from 1968) and A Pocket for Corduroy (from 1978) by Don Freeman.

The series first aired in 2000. You could watch it on TVOKids in Canada and on PBS Kids' Bookworm Bunch in the United States. There was one season with 26 short stories. These stories were often shown in pairs, making 13 longer episodes.

The show takes place in New York City. It's all about a friendly teddy bear named Corduroy. He acts a lot like a young child. Corduroy's best friend is Lisa, a schoolgirl with Jamaican family roots. Lisa lives with her mom in a big city apartment. Corduroy also has two toy friends: Buckaroo, a rocking horse, and Rosetta, a toy mouse. They also act like little kids. All the Corduroy episodes were put on YouTube in April 2013 on the Treehouse TV channel.
