Alkali Falls is an amazing waterfall with six different levels, or "steps." It's found in a beautiful, wild area called the Rogue–Umpqua Divide Wilderness. This special spot is in Douglas County, Oregon, a state in the United States.
The waterfall is located west of two famous landmarks: Mount Bailey and Diamond Lake. You can find it near Oregon Route 230. Alkali Falls drops a total of 510 feet! The highest single drop, called Upper Alkali, is 130 feet tall. This makes it one of the tallest waterfalls in all of Oregon.

Muir Creek is a smaller river that eventually joins the larger Rogue River. So, the water from Alkali Falls travels a long way!
How to Visit Alkali Falls
If you want to see Alkali Falls, you can find a special path called a trailhead. This trailhead is known as USFS No 1055. It branches off from Forest Road 6540-900. You can reach Forest Road 6540-900 from Oregon Route 230. It's a great adventure for anyone who loves nature and exploring!
