A Look Back in Time

All Saints' Church is very old! It was first built way back in the 12th century. That means it's over 800 years old.

This church is part of a group of churches called a "group of parishes." These churches work together in the local area. The other churches in this group include:

The Church Clock

In 1867, All Saints' Church got a brand new clock for its tower. This special clock was made by Reuben Bosworth, a famous clockmaker from Nottingham. It was designed to chime every hour and every quarter-hour.

There's a message on the clock that says, "Presented by Mrs. Lesiter, widow of the Rev. Charles Lesiter, late vicar of this parish, May 1867." This means Mrs. Lesiter gave the clock to the church in memory of her husband, who used to be the vicar (a type of priest) there.
