Where Was "Almost Never" Filmed?
Almost Never was filmed in Belfast, a city in Northern Ireland. Filming for the first series took place from August 12 to November 15, 2018. The show was first announced to the public on December 18, 2018.
After the first series, the show explained a character's absence. Mya's character left Girls Here First. This was explained as happening after the group's difficult European tour.
The cast grew bigger in the second series. New actors like Aston Merrygold and Tyra Richardson joined. Also, Stephen Rahman-Hughes and Victoria Ekanoye appeared in recurring roles. On January 2, 2020, CBBC announced that Almost Never would have a third series. Later, on May 29, 2020, the show's Instagram account posted a message. They were looking for young people aged 13 to 17 to audition for the third series.
