The Aloha Farmhouse is a special old house located in Aloha, Oregon, United States. It has a unique design inspired by the Craftsman style. This house is so important that it's listed on the National Register of Historic Places. This means it's officially recognized for its historical value.
The house was built in 1915. A famous architect named Pietro Belluschi made some changes to it twice. He first remodeled it in 1944 and then again in 1946. The Belluschi family moved out of the house in 1948. The Aloha Farmhouse was added to the National Register of Historic Places in September 2015.
A Historic Home
The Aloha Farmhouse has some interesting features. The eastern part of the house was originally a storage building. During Pietro Belluschi's remodel in 1944, it was connected to the main house by extending the roof.
Inside the Farmhouse
In 1980, a barn was moved from a nearby property and added to the farmhouse. An office was built on the second floor of this barn. The main part of the house has a partial basement that isn't finished. In total, the house has about 1,516 square feet (140.8 m2) of space.
