Minerals and Ancient History
The Filon Sur Mine, located in the Alosno area, is known for its beautiful goethite minerals. Goethite can sometimes look shiny and colorful, like a rainbow!
Not far from Alosno is an ancient place called Cabezo Juré. This site is over 4,500 years old! Archeologists have found evidence here that people used to melt copper a very long time ago.
