Altonah (also called Altona) is a small community in Duchesne County, Utah, United States. It is an unincorporated community, which means it doesn't have its own city government.
About Altonah
Altonah is located within the Uintah and Ouray Indian Reservation. You can find it by taking local roads north of State Route 87. It's also north of the city of Duchesne, which is the main town for Duchesne County.

History of Altonah
Altonah was first settled in 1906. When it was first established, it had a different name: Alexander. A few years later, in 1912, the community was officially renamed Altonah.
