Amber Midthunder (born April 26, 1997) is an American actress. She is known for her roles in TV shows like Legion and Roswell, New Mexico. She also appeared in Longmire and Reservation Dogs. In 2022, she played the main character, Naru, in the movie Prey. This film is the fifth movie in the Predator series.

Early Life and Background
Amber Midthunder was born on April 26, 1997. She grew up in Shiprock, New Mexico. Her mother, Angelique, is a casting director and stunt performer. Her father, David, is an actor. Her mother is from Thailand and has Thai-Chinese family roots. Her father is from Native American tribes. These include the Hunkpapa Lakota and Assiniboine tribes.
Amber is a citizen of the Fort Peck Assiniboine and Sioux Tribe. She spent much of her childhood in Santa Fe. There, she went to the Academy for Technology and the Classics.
Acting Career
Amber became interested in acting when she was a child. She used to learn lines from her favorite TV shows. Her first acting job was a small part in the 2008 movie Sunshine Cleaning. She then worked in many films made in New Mexico.
When she was 17, she moved to Los Angeles. She wanted to find more acting chances there. In 2022, she starred in the movie Prey. She played the role of Naru. People widely praised her acting in this film.
Awards and Recognition
For her role in Prey, Amber Midthunder received special awards. In 2022, she won the Breakthrough Performance Award at the Saturn Awards. She was also nominated for a Critics' Choice Award.
