Ambrì is a cool village in Switzerland. It is part of the Quinto area. This village is located in the Canton of Ticino. Ambrì is well-known for its ice hockey team and its airport.

Where is Ambrì?
Ambrì is found in the beautiful Leventina Valley. It sits near the Ticino River. The village is surrounded by the amazing Lepontine Alps mountains.
Ambrì is right next to the village of Piotta. Other nearby villages include Rodi and Fiesso. It is only 2 kilometers (about 1.2 miles) from Quinto. It is also 7 km (about 4.3 miles) from Airolo. The larger city of Bellinzona is about 50 km (about 31 miles) away.
Sports and Fun
Ambrì is famous across Switzerland for its ice hockey team. The team is called HC Ambrì-Piotta. They play in the National League, which is a top league.

The team used to play in a big arena called Valascia. This arena could hold 6,500 fans. The team is moving to a new arena soon. This new arena will be ready by 2021.
