Ana García-Arcicollar Vallejo (born on May 28, 1982) is a talented Spanish swimmer. She is also a teacher. Ana has a vision impairment, which means she cannot see as well as most people. This condition is due to a congenital disease, meaning she was born with it.

Despite her vision impairment, Ana became a very successful swimmer. She competed in several Paralympic Games and IPC Swimming World Championships. She won many medals, including gold, silver, and bronze.

Ana's Paralympic Journey

Ana García-Arcicollar represented Spain in four Paralympic Games. These are major international sports events for athletes with disabilities. She showed incredible skill and determination in each competition.

1996 Atlanta Paralympics

Ana's first Paralympic Games were in Atlanta, USA. She was still quite young but already a strong competitor. She earned three bronze medals at these Games.
