Hans Anders Södergren is a famous Swedish cross-country skier. He was born on May 17, 1977, in Söderhamn, Sweden. Anders started his professional skiing career in 1999 and competed for 17 seasons until 2015.
He is well-known for his strength and endurance in long-distance races. Anders has won many important medals throughout his career, including a gold medal at the Winter Olympics. He also has several medals from the World Championships.
Anders has a twin brother named Per. Per also used to be a cross-country skier, but he had to stop due to a back injury.

World Cup Achievements
Anders Södergren has had a very successful career in the World Cup series. He achieved 3 individual victories and stood on the podium 14 times in individual races. He also helped his team win 1 relay race and reach the podium 6 times in team events.
A special highlight of his career was winning the 50 km event at the Holmenkollen ski festival in both 2006 and 2008. This made him the only skier to win an international 50 km elite race with an individual start using the free technique since 2004.
