Hans Anders Södergren (born on May 17, 1977) is a famous Swedish cross-country skier. He started competing in 1999. Anders is known for his strong performances in long-distance races.
He has won several important medals. At the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin, he earned a bronze medal in the 4 × 10 km relay race. He also finished 5th in the 15 km + 15 km double pursuit event. Four years later, at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, he won a gold medal with his Swedish team in the 4 × 10 km relay.
Anders Södergren also has five medals from the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships. These include three silver medals and two bronze medals. He won silver in the 15 km + 15 km double pursuit in 2009 and in the 50 km race in 2003. His bronze medals were in the 4 × 10 km relay in 2003 and 2007.
He has won eight FIS Race events. He is also a ten-time national champion in Sweden. These wins were in races from 15 km to 50 km.
In 2006 and 2008, Anders won the 50 km event at the Holmenkollen ski festival. This made him the only skier since 2004 to win an international 50 km race with an individual start using the free technique.
Anders has a twin brother named Per. Per also used to be a cross-country skier. However, he had to stop his career because of a back injury.

Anders Södergren has had a long and successful career in cross-country skiing. He has competed in many major events. These include the Olympic Games and World Championships. His results are officially recorded by the International Ski Federation (FIS).
Olympic Games Medals
Anders Södergren competed in three Winter Olympic Games. He won two medals in total.
- 2006 Turin Olympics: He won a bronze medal in the 4 × 10 km relay. He also placed well in individual races.
- 2010 Vancouver Olympics: He achieved a gold medal in the 4 × 10 km relay. This was a big win for him and his team.
