Anderson is a small town located in Iron County, Wisconsin, in the United States. In the year 2000, about 61 people lived here. Some smaller communities, like Rouse, Tyler Forks, and Upson, are also part of the town of Anderson.

A Look Back: History of Anderson
The town of Anderson was first created on March 14, 1900. It was originally called the Town of Vogel.
A few years later, in 1903, its name was changed to Anderson. This was done to honor J.P. Anderson, who was an important local pioneer and the first leader of the town.

Anderson covers a total area of about 83.6 square miles (216.5 square kilometers). Most of this area, about 83.2 square miles (215.5 square kilometers), is land. The rest, about 0.4 square miles (1.1 square kilometers), is water.

In 2000, there were 61 people living in Anderson. These people lived in 28 different homes, and 16 of these were families. The town was not very crowded, with less than one person per square mile. Most of the people living in Anderson were White.
