Anderson, also known as Anderson Crossroad or Anderson Crossing, is a small community in Etowah County, Alabama, in the United States. It is an unincorporated community. This means it's a place where people live, but it doesn't have its own local government like a city or town.
Anderson is located about 2 miles (3.2 kilometers) northeast of Gadsden. You can find it right along U.S. Route 411. Even though it doesn't have clear official borders, parts of Anderson are inside areas called Tidmore Bend and Coats Bend. These are special areas used for counting people during a census.
Demographics
When the U.S. Census counts people, Anderson has never been listed as a separate place. This means its population figures are usually included with other nearby areas.
