When Anderson was four years old, his father died. His mother felt she could not care for him, so she placed him in a state institution. This institution was for young people who needed protection and care. Sadly, his mother passed away soon after.
Anderson spent some time trying to understand his identity. For a while, he thought of himself as a lesbian. Later, he realized he identified as a boy. His school records showed that he sometimes had trouble following rules. He was also involved in fights.
