Andre played for the New York Yankees in Major League Baseball (MLB). MLB is the top professional baseball league. He played for five seasons with the Yankees.

Becoming a Baseball Player

Andre Robertson was chosen by the Toronto Blue Jays in 1979. This happened during the June Amateur Draft. He started his professional baseball career that same year. He played for the Class A-Advanced Dunedin Blue Jays. He also played for the Triple-A Syracuse Chiefs. These are lower levels of professional baseball.
