Andre Devell Spencer (born July 20, 1964 – died August 4, 2020) was an American professional basketball player. He was 6 feet 6 inches tall and weighed 210 pounds. Andre played as a forward. He played college basketball for Bakersfield College and Northern Arizona University. Andre also played for three teams in the National Basketball Association (NBA). He spent six seasons playing in the Israeli Basketball Premier League.

Andre Spencer's Basketball Journey
Andre Spencer started his basketball career playing for Manual Arts High in Los Angeles. After high school, he played college basketball for the Bakersfield College Renegades from 1982 to 1984.
College Success at Northern Arizona
He then went to Northern Arizona University. There, he played for the Lumberjacks. In 1986, he earned special honors for his great playing in the Big Sky Conference.
During the 1985 season, Andre was one of the best players in the Big Sky Conference.

He was also briefly signed by the Miami Heat in October 1994. However, he was waived a few days later, before the 1994-95 NBA season began.
International Basketball Career
Andre Spencer also had a successful career playing basketball outside the United States. He played for six seasons in the Israeli Basketball Premier League.
