Andrea Cano was born on April 18, 1976. He is an Italian football coach and a former player. He used to play as a goalkeeper, which is the player who protects the goal. Today, he helps train young goalkeepers at the Padova Football Academy.
Playing Career
Andrea started his football journey playing for a team called Narnese. He later joined Lazio, a big team in Italy's top league, Serie A. After that, he went back to Narnese.
He also played for Frosinone and Lanciano. From 2005, he spent many years playing for Calcio Padova. He signed new contracts with them several times before leaving in 2012.
In October 2012, Andrea joined Bassano Virtus. In November 2013, he moved to Delta Porto Tolle. He played in a league called Lega Pro Seconda Divisione. At the end of the 2013–14 season, he stopped playing football professionally.
Coaching Career
In the summer of 2015, Andrea Cano became a coach for young goalkeepers. He worked for Abano in Serie D. In July 2016, he moved to coach at Calcio Padova. He continues to help train young goalkeepers there.
