Andrea Reusing has had an exciting career in the world of cooking. She started by opening a restaurant in Raleigh, North Carolina, called Enoteca Vin. This place was all about delicious food paired with great wines.
Lantern: A Taste of Asia
In 2002, Andrea opened her most famous restaurant, Lantern, in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. At Lantern, she creates incredible dishes inspired by Asian cuisine. One special thing about Lantern is that Andrea tries to get most of her ingredients from local farms and producers. This means the food is super fresh and supports the community!
In 2011, Andrea received the prestigious James Beard Foundation Award for Best Chef Southeast. This was a huge honor! In the same year, she also published her first cookbook.
