Brigadier Andrew Montagu Douglas Scott (born 13 July 1906 – died 24 January 1971) was an important British Army officer. He was known for his bravery and leadership during the Second World War. He held the rank of Brigadier, which is a high position in the army.

Early Life and Family

Andrew Montagu Douglas Scott was born into a well-known family. His father was Lieutenant Colonel Lord Herbert Andrew Montagu Douglas Scott. Andrew, like his father, was often called by his middle name. He went to Eton College, a famous school in England.

In 1929, Andrew married Lady Victoria Doris Rachel Haig, who was known as "Doria." Her father was Field Marshal Douglas Haig, 1st Earl Haig, a very important military leader. Andrew and Doria had two children:
