Andrew Symmes Bryant (born March 3, 1841 – died October 6, 1931) was an American soldier. He bravely fought in the American Civil War. Bryant earned the Medal of Honor, which is the highest award for bravery in the United States. He received this special award for his actions on May 23, 1863, in New Bern, North Carolina. The award was given to him on August 13, 1873.

Andrew S. Bryant was born in Springfield, Massachusetts, on March 3, 1841. He joined the Army from Springfield in August 1862. He served as a soldier during the American Civil War. Bryant left the Army with his group in July 1863.
Bryant passed away on October 6, 1931. He was buried at the Springfield Cemetery.
