Andrija Živković (born on July 11, 1996) is a professional footballer from Serbia. He plays as a winger for the Greek club PAOK. He also plays for the Serbia national team.
Andrija Živković holds two special records. He is the youngest player ever to play for the senior Serbia national team. He is also the youngest captain in the history of the club Partizan.
He was a very important player for the Serbia national under-20 team. This team won the 2015 FIFA U-20 World Cup. Andrija scored two goals and helped with two assists in that tournament.

Club Career: Playing for Top Teams
Partizan: Starting Strong
Andrija Živković joined Partizan in September 2009. He was part of a very talented group of young players.
First Steps (2012–13 season)
Andrija played his first professional game for Partizan on April 28, 2013. This was against Novi Pazar. He came into the game as a substitute. This was his only game that season. His team, Partizan, won their sixth championship title in a row.
Becoming a Star (2013–14 season)
On August 23, 2013, Živković signed his first professional contract with Partizan. Just two days later, he scored his first goal for the club. This was in a big 5–1 win against Radnički Kragujevac. He then scored in his next three league games.
On March 4, 2014, Živković made history. He became Partizan's youngest captain ever. He was only 17 years, 7 months, and 18 days old. In this season, he played 25 games and scored five goals.
Winning the League (2014–15 season)
In his third season, Živković played regularly for Partizan. He scored his first goal of the season in December 2014. This was in a 5–1 home win against Borac Čačak. He scored four more goals after the winter break. He even scored two goals in one game against OFK Beograd. Overall, he played 40 games and scored seven goals. Partizan won the championship title that season.
European Adventures (2015–16 season)
Živković started this season by helping Partizan win against Dila Gori. He then scored his first goal in a European competition. This was in a 4–2 win against Steaua București. He also helped Partizan reach the Champions League play-off round.
In the UEFA Europa League, he scored a goal and assisted another against AZ. He then scored two goals against Augsburg. He continued his great form by scoring the winning goal against AZ again. Later in the season, he was temporarily suspended from the team. This happened because he did not want to extend his contract.
Benfica: Moving to Portugal
On July 5, 2016, Živković joined Benfica, the champions of Portugal. He signed a five-year contract. He got the number 17 shirt. He made his debut for Benfica on October 2, 2016.
He played his first UEFA Champions League game a few months later. In his first season, he helped Benfica win the league title. He played 15 league games. In total, he played 24 games and scored one goal in the national cup.
PAOK: Success in Greece
On September 8, 2020, PAOK announced that Živković had joined their team. He signed a two-year contract. In his very first game for PAOK, he scored a goal against his old team, Benfica. This goal meant Benfica missed out on the Champions League play-offs.
On November 5, 2020, he scored two goals in a 4–1 win against PSV Eindhoven in the UEFA Europa League. This helped PAOK get closer to qualifying for the next round. On April 29, 2021, he scored a fantastic goal in extra time. This helped his team reach the Greek Cup final. Živković then won his first trophy with PAOK, the Greek Cup. He helped his team win the final against Olympiacos.
On October 30, 2021, Andrija signed a new three-year contract with PAOK. On December 9, he scored a header in a 2–0 win against Lincoln. This goal helped PAOK qualify for the knockout stage of the UEFA Europa Conference League.
In August 2023, Živković was in amazing form. He helped PAOK beat Hajduk Split 3–0 in the Europa Conference League. He also scored two goals in the first game of the Greek championship. On May 15, 2024, he scored two goals and assisted one in a 4–1 win against Panathinaikos. On May 19, 2024, PAOK won the Greek championship title. Živković played a key role by assisting the first goal in their 2–1 win against Aris.
International Career: Playing for Serbia

Andrija Živković played for the Serbia national under-17 team. He then got his first call-up to the senior national team. This was from manager Siniša Mihajlović.
On October 11, 2013, Živković made his debut for Serbia. He became the youngest player ever to play for the senior team. He was only 17 years old. This was in a friendly game against Japan.
Živković also played in the 2014 UEFA European Under-19 Championship. He then played a big part in the 2015 FIFA U-20 World Cup. He played in all seven games for his team. Serbia won the gold medal in this tournament! Živković scored two goals. One of his goals, a direct free kick against Mexico, was voted the best goal of the tournament.
Senior Team: World Cups and Euros
Živković made his debut for the Serbia national football team on October 11, 2013. He was the youngest player in Serbia's history to do so.
In 2018, Živković was chosen for the 2018 FIFA World Cup squad. He played in a match against Brazil.
In 2022, he was again selected for Serbia's squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. He played in all three group games. He even provided two assists in a 3–3 draw against Cameroon.
Žikvović was also part of Serbia's team for UEFA Euro 2024. He played in all three group stage matches.
