Andrzej Zdzisław Wrona (born December 27, 1988) is a Polish professional volleyball player. He plays as a middle blocker for the team Projekt Warsaw. He used to be a part of the Polish national team. He was a World Champion in 2014.

Andrzej Wrona started his professional volleyball career in Poland. He has played for several top clubs. He also proudly represented his country on the national team.

Playing for Clubs: A Look at His Career

Andrzej first played in the top Polish league, PlusLiga, in the 2007/2008 season. He was with Wkręt-Met Domex AZS Częstochowa. With this team, he won a silver medal in the Polish Championship. They also won the Polish Cup in 2007/2008.

For the next three seasons, he played for Delecta Bydgoszcz. He became a key player there. His strong performance led him to join one of Poland's best clubs, PGE Skra Bełchatów, in 2013.

With PGE Skra Bełchatów, he won the Polish Championship title in 2014. On October 8, 2014, his team also won the Polish SuperCup. In May 2015, he helped PGE Skra Bełchatów win a bronze medal in the Polish Championship. He continued playing for them. In February 2016, he won the 2016 Polish Cup with PGE Skra. They beat ZAKSA in the final. In April 2016, his team also got a bronze medal in the 2015–16 PlusLiga championship.

Playing for Poland: National Team Highlights

Andrzej Wrona was first called to the national team in 2012 by coach Andrea Anastasi. He played his first game against Serbia.

A big moment came on September 21, 2014. Poland won their second World Champions title. Andrzej was part of this amazing team. For his great sports achievements, he received the Gold Cross of Merit from the President of Poland. This award recognized his role in promoting Poland worldwide through sports.
