Andrés Pajares Martín was born in Madrid, Spain, on April 6, 1940. He is a famous Spanish actor, director, writer, and comedian. He has worked in theater, movies, and television.
Andrés Pajares began his career as a comedian in 1968. Early on, he performed in regular comedy shows and acted in plays. He also started in films as an extra in the late 1960s. He became very popular by the end of the 1970s.
He is well-known for his movie roles. One of his most famous films is ¡Ay Carmela!. For this movie, he won a Goya Award for Best Actor in 1991. He also starred in eleven movies with Fernando Esteso. These films were directed by Mariano Ozores between 1979 and 1984.
Andrés Pajares has appeared in over forty films. He has also directed three movies, writing two of them himself. He wrote the script for another film too. On television, he is famous for the series ¡Ay, Señor, Señor!. This show was broadcast in 1994 and 1995.
