Andy Secore was a talented lacrosse player. He was born on April 28, 1984. Andy played in the National Lacrosse League (NLL) for teams like the Edmonton Rush. He also proudly represented the Iroquois Nationals in big international games. After his playing career, he even became an assistant coach for the Rochester Knighthawks.

Playing Professional Lacrosse
Andy Secore started his NLL journey in 2005. He was picked 20th overall in the draft by the Calgary Roughnecks. However, he didn't play any games for them. Instead, he began his career with the Arizona Sting. He played for the Sting for two seasons.
Time with the Minnesota Swarm
After his time with the Sting, Andy joined the Minnesota Swarm. This was in 2008. He had a fantastic season with the Swarm. In just 14 games, he scored 76 points! This great performance led to him being chosen for the National Lacrosse League All-Star Game. Unfortunately, he couldn't play in the All-Star Game because of an injury.
Moving to the Edmonton Rush
After his impressive season with the Swarm, Andy moved to the Edmonton Rush. He was drafted second overall by the Rush. Andy played for the Edmonton Rush for three more years. He then decided to retire from the National Lacrosse League in 2011.
Playing for His Country
Andy Secore also played lacrosse on the world stage. He represented the Iroquois Nationals. This team is made up of players from the Iroquois Confederacy.
World Indoor Lacrosse Championship
In 2011, Andy played for the Iroquois Nationals in the 2011 World Indoor Lacrosse Championship. This big tournament was held in the Czech Republic. The Iroquois Nationals played very well. They made it all the way to the final game. They earned silver medals after a tough game against Team Canada.
