Andrea Laura Vila Pereira (born January 30, 1987), known as Andy Vila, is an Uruguayan actress, model, and TV presenter. She started her career in media when she was eighteen years old. Her first big role was on the comedy show El Show del mediodía.

Early Life and First Steps
Andrea Vila was born in Montevideo, Uruguay, on January 30, 1987. She went to the Elbio Fernández School. Even when she was a child, her family knew she was going to be an "artist."
She began taking theater classes at just 7 years old. She also started working in advertisements, fashion shows, and photo shoots.
Andy Vila's Career in TV and Movies
When Andy was 18, she tried out for a show and was chosen! She joined the sketch comedy series El show del mediodía on Teledoce in 2005. This show was very popular.
The next year, because she was so successful, she was asked to be in the Uruguayan soap opera, La Oveja Negra. She also acted in the movie 14 días en el paraíso. In the same year, she started hosting Click on Nuevo Siglo TV.
In 2009, Andy Vila co-starred in the movie Bad Day to Go Fishing. She played a character named Maria Victoria. In 2011, she had a repeating role in the show Adicciones. The next year, she played Lydia in the movie La culpa del cordero.
During the summer of 2012-2013, she worked as a reporter for the Uruguayan show Verano Perfecto. She also reported for the Argentine show Bien de Verano. In 2013, Andy started acting in theater with a play called Encadenados. She toured the whole country with this play.
In 2014, she continued on Verano Perfecto, but this time she had a main role. From 2015 to 2017, she was a regular guest on the morning TV show Desayunos informales.
From September 2018 to January 2019, she hosted Modo avión. This was a travel program on Channel 4. On December 3, 2018, she started co-hosting Vamo Arriba, a daytime TV show also on Channel 4.
From September 2021 to mid-2022, she hosted Los 8 escalones―Edición Famosos. This was a special version of the game show Los 8 escalones that featured celebrities. On December 16, 2022, she left Vamo Arriba. She said she wanted to spend more time taking care of her new baby daughter.

Andy Vila's Personal Life
Andy Vila started a relationship with Emiliano Álvarez in 2013. They separated for a while in May 2019, but got back together in July 2020. On November 22, 2021, during a live TV show, she announced that she was going to have her first child.
