Anil Nedumangad (born 30 May 1972, died 25 December 2020) was an Indian actor. He was well-known for his roles in Malayalam movies. He also worked as a TV anchor before becoming an actor.

Anil Nedumangad's Acting Journey
Anil Nedumangad started his acting career in 2005. His first movie was Thaskaraveeran. He became widely known after his role in the 2014 film Njan Steve Lopez. This movie was directed by Rajeev Ravi.
Anil played important roles in many other popular films. Some of these include Ayyappanum Koshiyum, Kammatipaadam, and Kismath. He also appeared in Paavada and Porinju Mariam Jose. His last film, Cold Case, was released in 2021 after his passing.
Early Life and Career Beginnings
Anil Nedumangad was born in Nedumangad, Trivandrum. His father, C. Peethambharan Nair, was a retired teacher. His mother was Rajamma. Anil had an older brother named Anand.
He went to Mancha School in Nedumangad. Later, he studied Malayalam at Mahatma Gandhi College in Trivandrum. He also attended the School of Drama in Thrissur. Before acting, Anil worked in television. He was a TV anchor and producer for channels like Kairali TV, Asianet, JaiHind TV, and Reporter TV.
How Anil Nedumangad Passed Away
Anil Nedumangad sadly passed away on 25 December 2020. He was 48 years old. He died from drowning at Malankara Dam in Kerala, India.
He was taking a break from filming the movie Peace. Anil went swimming with friends in the dam. After swimming once, he went back into the water. He got caught in a strong undercurrent. His friends looked for him but could not find him. They called the Kerala Fire Force and local people for help. Anil was taken to a nearby hospital, but his life could not be saved. Locals have said that swimming in Malankara Dam can be very difficult, even for good swimmers.
