History of Anime South
Anime South was started by one of the people who also helped create another convention called Anime USA. It took about two months to plan the first event. They chose a big hotel, The Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa, for the first convention in November 2005.
Sadly, the event planned for 2015 was canceled. This happened because of money problems. The last Anime South convention was held in 2013.
