Anne Kerr, Countess of Lothian (died 1667) was an important Scottish noblewoman and landowner. She was the daughter of Robert Kerr, 2nd Earl of Lothian and Annabella Campbell. Annabella was the daughter of Archibald Campbell, 7th Earl of Argyll.

Anne Kerr married William Kerr of Ancram in 1630 or early 1631. William was the son of Robert Kerr of Ancram. After their marriage, William Kerr was given the special title of Earl of Lothian in 1631.

A relative, Sir William Kerr of Blackhope, tried to claim the title of Earl of Lothian. He said he was the closest male heir. However, a powerful council in England, called the Privy Council, said no to his claim in March 1632.

You can see a special design with Anne and William Kerr's initials and the year 1666 at Newbattle Abbey. Anne Kerr passed away on March 16, 1667.

  • William Kerr of Halden (born 1638), who married Agnes Cockburn.
  • Mary Kerr (1640-1708), who married James Bodie of Brodie.
  • Vere Kerr (1649-1674)
  • Henrietta Kerr (1653-1741), who married Francis Scott of Thirlestane.
