Annie French (born February 6, 1872 – died January 27, 1965) was a talented Scottish artist. She was a painter, engraver, illustrator, and designer. Annie French was closely connected with the famous Glasgow School of art.

Annie French studied at the Glasgow School of Art from 1896 to 1902. Her teachers included Jean Delville and Fra Newbery. After her studies, she shared a studio with other artists. These artists were Bessie Young and Jane Younger. They worked together from 1906 to 1914.

Annie French also taught at the Glasgow School of Art. From 1909 to 1912, she taught students how to decorate ceramics. Ceramics are art made from clay, like pottery.

She was known for her black and white illustrations. These were often in the style of another artist named Beardsley. Two of her well-known books of illustrations were The Picture Book and The Plumed Hat. These books were featured in important art magazines.
