Annie Oliv was born on October 12, 1987. She is a talented Swedish cellist. Annie is also known for being a beauty pageant winner. She represented her country, Sweden, in the Miss World 2007 competition. This big event took place in Sanya, China. Annie did very well, finishing as one of the top five finalists.
Annie's Journey to Miss World
Annie Oliv won the title of Miss World Sweden on September 8, 2007. She was crowned by the host, Marie Plosjö. Annie represented the city of Gothenburg in the competition. She took over the title from Cathrin Skoog, who was Miss World Sweden the year before. Cathrin had represented Östersund.
Before her pageant career, Annie completed her high school education. She also spent a year studying at the Royal Ballet School. Annie has also worked as a personal assistant. She helped people with disabilities in Gothenburg.
Annie's Music Performance
Annie Oliv is also a skilled musician. On February 23, 2008, she took part in a famous Swedish music contest. This competition is called Melodifestivalen 2008. Annie played the cello during a performance by Mickey Huskic. They competed in the third semifinal round. However, they were eliminated in the first part of the round. They finished in seventh place.
