Annie Oliv was born on October 12, 1987. She is a talented Swedish cellist and a beauty pageant winner. In 2007, she represented her country, Sweden, in the Miss World competition. She was one of the top five finalists in the contest, which was held in Sanya, China.
Annie Oliv's Journey
Annie won the "Miss World Sweden" title on September 8, 2007. This important win meant she would represent Sweden in the international Miss World contest. She received her crown from the host, Marie Plosjö. Annie took over the title from the previous year's winner, Cathrin Skoog.
Before her pageant career, Annie completed her high school education. She also spent a year studying at the Royal Ballet School. This shows her interest in both academics and the arts. Annie also worked as a personal assistant for people with disabilities in Gothenburg, Sweden.
Music and Melodifestivalen
On February 23, 2008, Annie Oliv showed her musical skills in a big Swedish music competition called Melodifestivalen 2008. She played the cello during Mickey Huskic's performance in one of the semifinal rounds. Even though they performed well, their entry was eliminated in the first round, finishing in seventh place.
