Annika Langvad (born March 22, 1984) is a famous former cyclist from Denmark. She rode for Specialized Racing, mainly in mountain bike racing. Annika is a five-time World Champion in mountain biking. She won four titles in long-distance mountain bike races (marathon) and one in cross-country racing.

Annika Langvad's Cycling Journey
Annika Langvad had an amazing career as a cyclist. She was known for her strength and skill on both mountain bikes and road bikes. She achieved many big wins and set new records.
Mountain Bike Successes
From 2014, Annika and her teammate Ariane Kleinhans won the women's category of the Absa Cape Epic three times in a row. This is a very tough mountain bike stage race. Annika won the Cape Epic a total of six times during her career, with her most recent win in 2025.
In 2015, Annika also won the Leadville 100 race. She was the first woman to finish this race in under 7 hours, which was a huge achievement!
In 2016, Annika became the world champion in Women's cross-country mountain biking. She also finished second in the UCI World Cup rankings for Cross Country that year. She was only 24 points behind the leader. She was a runner-up in the cross-country World Cup standings again in 2018.
Road Cycling Achievements
Annika also showed her talent in road cycling. In 2010, she won the Danish road race championship. She was also a three-time Danish time trial champion.
In 2013, she finished sixth in the individual time trial at the World Championships. In 2019, she rode for a road cycling team called DLT. During that year, she came in second at Strade Bianche, fourth at the Amstel Gold Race, and third at Flèche Wallonne.
Annika Langvad announced her retirement from professional cycling on October 9, 2020.
