Lenzerheide is a super cool mountain town in Graubünden, Switzerland. It's known as a fun place to visit all year round. This village sits at the bottom of a mountain called Parpaner Rothorn.

Lenzerheide is part of a larger area called Vaz/Obervaz. It's located in a wide valley. This valley connects the city of Chur in the north with Tiefencastel in the south. Beyond Tiefencastel, you can find the Julier Pass and the famous town of St Moritz.

Fun in Lenzerheide

Lenzerheide is a very popular place for both winter and summer activities. It has a lovely lake called Heidsee. In winter, the lake freezes over, making it perfect for ice skating!

Skiing and Snowboarding

Lenzerheide is a fantastic place for skiing and snowboarding. The mountains here have lots of slopes for all skill levels. You can reach the skiing areas like Stätzerhorn and Rothorn using special lifts. These lifts are run by the Lenzerheide Bergbahnen [de]. Some of the slopes are even used for big international races! Both women and men compete here in the FIS Alpine Ski World Cup.

In 2013, the Lenzerheide ski area got even bigger. A new cable car connected it to another nearby resort, Arosa. Now, you can ski in both places with one special pass! This new combined area is called Arosa Lenzerheide.

Hiking and Exploring

Lenzerheide is also great for hiking. You can take a two-day hike from here to two other cool resorts. One is Arosa, which you can reach in just one day. The other is Davos, which takes two days to hike to. Imagine all the amazing views you'd see!
