Annika Virpi Irene Saarikko (born 10 November 1983) is a Finnish politician. She served as the Deputy Prime Minister of Finland from 2020 to 2023. She also led a political group called the Centre Party from 2020 to 2024.

Annika Saarikko was born in Oripää, Finland. She went to the University of Turku. There, she studied educational science and media studies.
Her Political Journey
Annika Saarikko started her political career in 2010. She was chosen as the vice chair of the Centre Party. In 2011, she became a member of the Parliament of Finland.
Important Roles in Government
Saarikko has held several important jobs as a minister:
- From 2017 to 2019, she was the Minister of Family Affairs and Social Services. This role focuses on helping families and social welfare.
