Anthony Allison is an American politician. He was also a retired electrician. He served as a member of the New Mexico House of Representatives from 2019 to 2025. Mr. Allison represented the 4th district. This district includes San Juan County, New Mexico.
Early Life and Education
Anthony Allison is a member of the Navajo Nation. After finishing Gallup High School, he went to Eastern New Mexico University. He studied there for two years.
His Work and Public Service
Before he retired, Mr. Allison worked as a journeyman electrician. This means he was a skilled and experienced electrician. He also started a group called the Navajo Voters Coalition. This group worked to help more people vote in his district.
In 2018, he won an election. He defeated the person who held the office before him, Sharon Clahchischilliage. Anthony Allison began his job as a representative on January 15, 2019. He completed his term on January 1, 2025.
