Anthony (Tony) Andersen is an Inuit politician from Labrador. He is a member of the Nunatsiavut Assembly. This is the government for the Inuit region of Labrador.

Tony Andersen was born to Edgar and Muriel Andersen. Politics runs in his family!
- His brother, Wally Andersen, is also a member of the Nunatsiavut Assembly.
- His nephew, Thomas Evans, also serves in the Nunatsiavut Assembly.
- His niece, Lela Evans, was elected to the House of Assembly of Newfoundland and Labrador in 2019. She won against his nephew, Randy Edmunds.

Early Roles
Andersen briefly served as the Acting President of Nunatsiavut. This was after the previous President, William Andersen III, resigned. He also served as the AngajukKâk of Nain. An AngajukKâk is like a mayor for the community.
Leading Nunatsiavut
Tony Andersen became the First Minister of Nunatsiavut after Kate Mitchell stepped down. He was acting in this role from 2019 to 2022.
In 2022, after a general election, Andersen was officially chosen as the First Minister. He is one of two members who represent the community of Nain in the Nunatsiavut Assembly.
