Anthony Bonner (born June 8, 1968) is a former American professional basketball player. He was known for his skills as a power forward and small forward. Bonner played for several teams in the NBA and also had a long career playing basketball in other countries.

High School Hoops
Anthony Bonner went to Vashon High School in St. Louis, Missouri. He was a star player on the school's basketball team. In his final year, he scored about 14.6 points and grabbed 16.8 rebounds per game. He was even named "Mr. Show-Me Basketball" in 1986, which is a big award for high school players in Missouri!
College Basketball Star
After high school, Bonner played college basketball at Saint Louis University. He became a legend for the Saint Louis Billikens team. He holds the record as their all-time leading scorer, with an amazing 1,972 points! His jersey number 34 was even retired by the Billikens, which is a huge honor. In 1990, he led all college players in rebounding.
Playing in the NBA
In 1990, Anthony Bonner was chosen by the Sacramento Kings in the 1990 NBA draft. He was the 23rd player picked overall! He played six seasons in the NBA, which is the top basketball league in the world.
He played for the Sacramento Kings, the New York Knicks, and the Orlando Magic. During his NBA career, he averaged 6.9 points per game. In 2002, when he was 34, he tried to make a comeback with the Utah Jazz. He played in a few practice games but was later released from the team.
International Basketball Career
After his time in the NBA, Anthony Bonner played basketball all over the world! He played for many famous teams in Europe. Some of these teams include PAOK in Greece and Virtus Bologna in Italy. He also played in other countries like Russia, Spain, Turkey, Argentina, and Puerto Rico.
He won the Spanish Basketball Cup in 1999. He was also named a Greek League All-Star in 1996. Bonner won the BSN championship in Puerto Rico twice, in 2002 and 2004. He had a very long and successful career playing basketball professionally until 2006.
