Antigua is a town and a municipality located in the middle of Fuerteventura island. This island is part of the Canary Islands in Spain. Antigua is a place where about 12,000 people live. It covers an area of about 250 square kilometers. The town is located about 17 kilometers southwest of Puerto del Rosario, which is the capital city of Fuerteventura.
