Antonia Clara Iacobescu (born on April 12, 1989), known simply as Antonia, is a famous Romanian singer. She is known for her pop and dance music.

Antonia's Early Life
Antonia Clara Iacobescu was born in Bucharest, Romania, on April 12, 1989. When she was five years old, her family moved to the United States. She grew up in Utah and started singing when she was ten. American culture really shaped her music style.
She finished high school in Las Vegas, Nevada. After that, she started a career in modeling. Antonia worked on many photoshohoots for catalogs. She also worked with big modeling agencies like Lenz and Ford Models. In 2013, she even started her own clothing line called MOJA. When she was 18, Antonia moved back to Romania with her family.

In 2009, Antonia met Romanian music producer Tom Boxer. A friend introduced them after hearing Antonia sing. Antonia and Tom Boxer then created their first song together, called "Roses on Fire". They also made a music video for the song.
In 2011, Antonia released a song called "Pleacă" with the band Vunk. In the summer of 2012, she released "I Got You" and "Jameia". "Jameia" became very popular and reached number 5 in Romania. After her first child was born, Antonia returned to music as a solo artist. She released "Marionette", which was written by the Dutch producer Afrojack.
In 2014, Antonia was a judge on the TV show Kids Sing. This show was broadcast on Kanal D. On April 17, 2015, Antonia released her first album, This Is Antonia. It was released through the Romanian record label Roton. The album has 12 songs and is available both as a CD and online. In 2017, Antonia and Alex Velea were contestants on the show Look Who's Dancing on Pro TV. Also in 2017 and 2018, she was a judge on the TV show The Four. This show was broadcast on Antena 1.
Antonia was also chosen to voice the Romanian character Janette in the movie Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip.
Antonia's Family Life
Antonia married Italian businessman Vincenzo Castellano in 2011. They have a daughter together named Maya Rosario Castellano, who was born in 2010. Antonia and Vincenzo separated in 2013. Their divorce was finalized in 2020.
In 2013, Antonia started a relationship with Romanian singer Alex Velea. They have two sons together: Dominic, born in 2014, and Akim, born in 2016. Antonia and Alex Velea announced their engagement in July 2021.
