Antonia Okonma, born on July 24, 1982, is an actress from Britain. She is famous for her role as Darlene Cake in the TV show Bad Girls. She played this character from 2004 to 2006.

Antonia Okonma's Early Life and Schooling
Antonia Okonma grew up in London, England. Her family is from Nigeria, part of the Igbo group. Antonia studied Accounting and Finance at university. She also trained for two years at the Royal Court Young People's Theatre, learning how to act.

Becoming Darlene Cake in Bad Girls
In 2003, Antonia Okonma got a part in the TV show Bad Girls. This show was about a prison. She played a character named Darlene Cake. Her first episode aired in 2004. Darlene Cake was from Jamaica, so Antonia learned to speak with a Jamaican accent for the role.
Antonia was in the sixth, seventh, and eighth seasons of the show. Her last appearance was in 2006. After the sixth season, a special show called Bad Girls: Most Wanted aired. Viewers voted Darlene Cake as the fourth most popular character.
Awards and Other Roles
In 2004, Antonia won two awards for her work in Bad Girls. She received a Gathering of Africa's Best (GAB) award for Best Newcomer. She also won a Screen Nation award for Best Emerging Talent.
After Bad Girls, Antonia acted in British movies. These included Screaming Blue Murder and Rabbit Fever. She also had a small role in the BBC miniseries Moses Jones in 2009.
