Antonio Cornell Burks, born on February 25, 1980, is an American who used to play professional basketball. He played in the National Basketball Association (NBA) and also in Europe. Standing 6 feet tall, he played as a guard. Antonio went to Booker T. Washington High School in Memphis. After high school, he spent a year at Hiwassee Junior College in Madisonville, Tennessee. Later, he joined the University of Memphis as a walk-on player. He helped the Memphis Tigers basketball team win the NIT in 2002. In his final year at the University of Memphis, he was named the Conference USA Player of the Year.

NBA Draft and Early Career
After his successful time at the University of Memphis, Antonio Burks was chosen in the second round of the 2004 NBA draft. The Orlando Magic picked him as the 36th player overall. Soon after, he was traded to his hometown team, the Memphis Grizzlies. In his first season with the Grizzlies, he played in 24 games. He averaged about three points per game during that time.
In 2006, Antonio joined the Miami Heat for their preseason games. However, he was released from the team before the regular 2006–07 NBA season began.
Playing in Europe
