Antony is a town in France. It is located in the southern suburbs of Paris, about 11.3 kilometers (7 miles) from the center of Paris. Antony is an important administrative center in the Hauts-de-Seine area.

The town is near the Bièvre River, which flows into the Seine. Antony has always been a key meeting point for important travel routes, especially a main road that has been used for 2,000 years. For a long time, Antony was not a very big city. But in the early 1900s, it started to grow a lot. Between World War I and World War II, the population jumped from 4,000 to 20,000 people. This growth happened when Auguste Mounié was the town's mayor. In the early 1960s, even more people moved to Antony, and its population quickly grew from 25,000 to 50,000.
