Antwain La'Mar Barbour, born on June 27, 1982, is an American former professional basketball player. He played for many teams around the world during his career. He was a talented player known for his scoring.
Before becoming a professional, Antwain was a star player in high school. In 2000, his team, Elizabethtown, won the Kentucky High School Sweet 16 State Championship. He was also named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of that tournament. His last team was the Hoops Club in the Lebanese Basketball League.

Antwain's Basketball Journey
Antwain Barbour played college basketball for the Kentucky Wildcats in the NCAA. After college, he started his professional career in 2004. He first joined the Kentucky Colonels in the ABA league.
Playing in Different Leagues
The next season, Antwain played in the Continental Basketball Association (CBA) for the Yakima Sun Kings. In 2006, he moved to Spain. He finished the 2005–06 season with UB La Palma. Even though he only played four games, his skills were noticed. This led him to sign with Tenerife Rural.
Success in Spain
Antwain played for Tenerife on the island of Tenerife for two and a half seasons. He became one of the most exciting players in the LEB League. He even set a scoring record in this league. He scored an amazing 50 points in one game against CB Lucentum Alicante. During his time there, his team often reached the playoffs. These playoffs were to try and get promoted to the top Spanish basketball league, the Liga ACB.
Moving to Turkey and Back
After his time in Tenerife, Antwain moved to Turkey in 2009. He signed with Erdemir SK in the Turkish Basketball League. In his first season in Turkey, his team was the runner-up in the Turkish Cup Basketball. He also helped his team stay in the TBL, moving them up from 15th place.
Later in 2009, Antwain returned to Spain. He joined Lagun Aro GBC, a team in the Liga ACB. This is the highest basketball league in Spain. After one year, Barbour went back to Zonguldak to play for Erdemir SK again.
Later Career Teams
For the 2011–12 season, Antwain Barbour signed with KK Cibona. This team is from Croatia.
On July 3, 2013, Barbour signed with Mersin BB in Turkey. He later played a short time in Poland. Then, he returned to Mersin BB on December 10, 2014. He played his last professional season in 2015–2016 for the Hoops Club.
