Anukriti Gusain (born March 25, 1994) is an Indian model and activist. She is also known for winning beauty pageants. She won the title of Femina Miss India Grand International 2017. This was at the Femina Miss India 2017 pageant.

She was crowned Miss India Asia Pacific World in 2014. She then represented India at Miss Asia Pacific World 2014. Anukriti returned to pageants in 2017. She won Femina Miss India Uttarakhand 2017. After this, she represented India in Miss Grand International in Vietnam.

Early Life and Education

Anukriti was born in Lansdowne. This town is in the Pauri Garhwal district of Uttarakhand, a state in northern India. Her family comes from Kandoli village. She is the oldest of three children. Her parents are Uttam Singh Gusain and Narmada Devi.

Anukriti completed her schooling at Army Public School in Lansdowne. Later, she studied engineering. She graduated from DIT Dehradun with a degree in computer science. In 2022, she ran for election in Uttarakhand but was not successful.

Career Highlights

Anukriti Gusain has had a varied career. Since 2018, she has been an Executive Director. This role is at the Doon Institute of Medical Sciences in Dehradun. She has also been a Joint CEO at Ingreen Nature's Herb Private Limited since 2018.

She is also the President of a non-governmental organization (NGO). This NGO is called Mahila Utthan Evam Bal Kalyan Sansthan. She has held this position since 2018. Before these roles, she worked as a Software Developer at Cognizant in 2017. She also worked for Bennett Coleman and Co. Ltd. (Times Group) for almost two years.

Femina Miss India Delhi

Femina Miss India Delhi 2013 was a regional competition. It helped participants qualify for international pageants. Anukriti won the title of Femina Miss India Delhi 2013. She also won two special awards there. These were Femina Miss Timeless Beauty and Femina Miss Glowing Skin.

Femina Miss India National Competition

Anukriti was one of the top five finalists in Femina Miss India 2013. This national pageant took place in Mumbai on March 24, 2013. During this competition, she also earned two sub-contest awards. She was named Miss Beautiful Smile and Miss Photogenic.

Miss Supertalent of the World

In 2014, Anukriti was crowned Femina Miss India 2014. This meant she represented India at Miss Supertalent of the World 2014. The event was held in Seoul, Korea. She performed very well and was crowned the 4th Runner-up. For the main event, Anukriti wore beautiful outfits. These included gold gowns, a cocktail sari, and a bodysuit. They were designed by Raakesh Agarvwal.

Miss Grand International 2017

Anukriti represented India at Miss Grand International 2017. Many people thought she would be a top contender. She did well in all the activities and won many fans. She made it into the top 20 at the pageant. The event took place in Vietnam on September 25, 2017. However, she did not advance further in the competition. She also placed in the top 10 for both the best national costume and the swimsuit competition.

• She received the Mahatma Gandhi Samman 2014 award. This was for representing India in an international beauty pageant.
• The Uttarakhand Film Association honored her. They recognized her contributions in creative fields.

Social Work

Anukriti Gusain is involved in important social work. Her NGO runs several skill training centers. These centers help women in Uttarakhand. They provide free training and chances to start businesses. The training covers many areas. These include food processing, general duty assistant roles, and COVID CARE Frontline Workers. In 2022, Anukriti ran for election. She was a candidate for the Congress party in the Lansdowne area. She received 14,636 votes. However, she was defeated by Daleep Singh Rawat. He was the candidate from the Bhartiya Janta Party. Daleep received a total of 24,504 votes.
