The meeting was quickly broken up by a curious New York State Trooper. He noticed many expensive cars parked near the home. Other police officers soon arrived, leading to arrests and many attendees fleeing into the surrounding countryside. This event was a big deal for law enforcement.

The meeting has been shown in movies like Analyze This (1999), The Valachi Papers (1972), and Mob Town (2019).
