Arawa Kimura (木村 現, Kimura Arawa, July 8, 1931 – February 21, 2007) was a Japanese football (soccer) player. He was born in Hiroshima, Japan. Kimura played as a forward, which means he was one of the main attackers on the team, trying to score goals. He played for several club teams and also represented his country, Japan, in international matches.

Arawa Kimura's Club Career

Arawa Kimura was born in Hiroshima on July 8, 1931. He played for two main club teams during his career. One team was called Kwangaku Club. This team was made up of players from Kwansei Gakuin University, where Kimura had studied.

He also played for another team called Chudai Club. This team was formed by players and graduates from Chuo University. Kimura was very successful with these teams. He helped them win the Emperor's Cup, which is a major football tournament in Japan. He won the Emperor's Cup in 1950, 1953, and 1955 with All Kwangaku. Later, he won it again in 1957 with Chudai Club.

Playing for Japan's National Team

In March 1954, Arawa Kimura was chosen to play for the Japan national team. This was for the 1954 World Cup qualification matches.

His first game for Japan was on March 7, 1954, against South Korea. He also played in the 1954 Asian Games. Kimura played a total of 6 games for Japan and scored 1 goal. His national team career lasted until 1955.

Arawa Kimura passed away on February 21, 2007, in Ebina, Japan. He was 75 years old.
