Starting in the Big Leagues
Archie Corbin began his MLB career in 1991. He joined the Kansas City Royals. He played as a relief pitcher. A relief pitcher comes into the game after the starting pitcher. Their job is to help the team keep its lead or catch up.
Playing for Different Teams
After playing for the Royals, Archie later joined the Baltimore Orioles in 1996. He continued to pitch in the major leagues. His final team was the Florida Marlins in 1999. He played for them before he stopped playing professional baseball.
